Terms and Conditions of Hire

Drivers must meet the following minimum ages and driving experience to hire.

Cars, Light Commercial Vehicles, MPV’s, Tippers, 4x4’s

Between 25 and 75, having held a full driving licence for at least 3 years

Licence issued in United Kingdom only as of 1st January 2022 EU licences are not valid.

 

Documentation

Each driver will be required to show their driving licence at the time of hire. The older paper licence version must be accompanied with a passport or debit/credit card as additional proof of identification.

Each driver will also be required to show 2 additional documents with their name and personal address. Documents must be no older than 3 months’ acceptable documents include, Bank Statement, Credit Card Statement, Current Council Tax Bill, Utility Bill, Letting agreement or Proof of Home Ownership.

Insurance

​All vehicles are supplied without insurance and is hire's responsibility to maintain fully comprehensive insurance at all times, you must inform the insurance company that you are hiring vehicle from us and must be insured for the purpose 

the hirer is using vehicle for, If for any reason the hire's insurance is not valid and a claim arises then the hirer is personally responsible for all claimed costs including new replacement cost of vehicle and any expenses, claims arising from any accident,theft etc.

 

Cancellations

If you unfortunately need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We do not charge for cancellations however it may take at least 5 working days to refund any money due as a result of the policies operated by credit card providers.

 

All Vehicles must remain in UK mainland unless permission has been granted by us in writing

Driver induced faults will not be covered and are  chargeable. These may include, but are not limited to:

Incorrect Fuel Used, Wheel change, Out of fuel, Adble, Locked out or Lost/broken key, Road Traffic Accident Recovery (Subject to fault)

Fines and Penalty Charge Notices

If you get caught speeding, illegally parking, failing to pay the London Congestion Charge or any other civil or criminal traffic offence whilst driving one or our vehicles, your details will be forwarded to the enforcing authority, plus we will charge you an administration fee of £45 plus VAT for each and every occurrence.

Fuel

Customers are required to return vehicles with the same amount of fuel as when they collected the hire vehicle. If a vehicle is returned with less fuel a charge will be applied, current charges  £3 per litre

Refunds will not be given for vehicles returned with excess fuel.

 

Congestion Charge Zone - London (CCZ)

The Congestion Charge is an £12.50 (or more if changed by  TFL)  daily charge for driving a vehicle within the charging zone between 07:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday.

To help improve air quality in London, an Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) now operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year within the same area of central London as the Congestion Charge. Our vehicles, including cars and vans,  meet the ULEZ emissions standards .

Early Returns

​Refunds for early returns will only be given if we have received at least 7 days notice before the vehicle is returned. Deposits will be refunded when the vehicle is returned in the same state as it was let out , And no partial months will be refunded.
